Making the beds for the best
From the very start of our business, way back in 1993, Redwood has been making the beds for some of the biggest names in the business. One of our very first contracts was to make 250 mattresses for one of the most well-known names in retail bedding. They were so impressed that their order grew from that first 250 to a regular order of 5,000 mattresses a week, every week.

Our manufacturing facilities in Skelmersdale stretch to over 60,000sq ft and are equipped with the very latest sewing machines and stitching technology. From Clevine quilting machines to tape edgers, from simulated side stitch border machines to flag stitchers for handles we’ve got your mattress covered.
Of course, even the best stitching technology needs skilled operators, and we’re proud of our incredibly talented workforce of over 50 seamstresses. Each member of our sewing team brings vast experience, skill and care to every one of the 15,000 items a week that our factory creates.
